Core Beliefs

Bible

We believe the Bible was written by man but is the inspired by God to tell His message.  That the Bible is true and is our basis for all areas of faith and practice.  We believe while our daily lives have changed since the original writings, the human nature of man has not, so the teaching of the Bible are just as revalent today as when it was written.

God

We believe that God is the creator of all things on Earth and throughout the universe. God loves all of us unconditionally regardless of our self-imposed limitation.  That he does not see race, sex or nationalities.

We believe God is eternal and exist in three forms: the Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis1:1 26,27; 3:22; Psalms 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2

Jesus

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who came to earth as all God and all human.  He came to Earth to teach and to be sacrificed for our sins.  His resurrection after the third day is the basis of our Christian belief that we are saved by grace.

Holy Spirit

He is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He works to make persons aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides Christians with power for daily living, understanding of spiritual truth, and power for effective witnessing to others. The Christian is commanded to live under the Spirit’s control every day.

Salvation

Man can never make-up for his sin by self-improvement of good deeds. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can a man be saved from sin’s penalty.

Man

We believe God created humans, both male, and female, in His image. Because of our sinful decisions and nature, we were all separated from God. By accepting Jesus, we can all be reconciled to God.
